Jewish Outreach International (JOI) EVANGELIZES and DISCIPLES Jewish people and others while EQUIPPING the church to do the same.  We believe Jesus (Yeshua) was God in the flesh, died for our sins and rose from the dead.  We love and support the state of Israel and the Jewish people.  JOI Board of Directors are members of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Mount Paran Church of God, Church of the Apostles and Hopewell Baptist Church.   JOI is an IRS approved 501c3 non-profit ministry located in Atlanta, Georgia.

JOI Founder and President Steven Kaplan is a Jewish Believer in Jesus who came to faith in Jesus through the witness of a gentile co-worker in 1992. Jesus healed Steven of bitterness, anger and alcoholism and has sent Steven to minister in over 25 countries worldwide. Steven is a licensed Southern Baptist Minister and a member of the Southern Baptist Messianic Fellowship, a ministry of the North American Mission Board. 

Steven Barry Kaplan, President

Steven is a Jewish believer in Jesus from Muttontown, New York.  After God lead him to Atlanta in 1992, he worked for The Coca-Cola Company as the Volunteer Coordinator and for BellSouth (now AT&T) as a budget planner before going into full time ministry.  Steven has ministered in over 25 countries and has led hundreds to the Lord! Steven earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Miami, a Diploma in Computer Technology from New York University and a certificate from the Bible Training Centre for Pastors in Tucker, Georgia.

Lee Veal, Bible Teacher

Lee is a native Georgian and works in the Telecommunications field as a computer programmer.  Lee teaches our Tuesday night Bible study and serves as Chairman of our Board of Directors.

Michael Maurer, Artist

Michael is a Jewish believer in Jesus from Jericho, New York.  Michael came to faith at one of our Bible studies and works for our ministry part time making "Jesus Loves You" t-shirts. Michael can be found working at Underground Atlanta painting faces, and "The Glitter is Free!"
